Jewellery

My jewellery is shaped through a process of listening to the material. The hand guides the metal, but the material itself suggests the form. Every piece carries the marks of its making — subtle irregularities, textures, and quiet gestures — reminding us that beauty often lies in what is human, imperfect, and alive.

Mehfuz - The Guarded one

Mahfuz means that which is protected and preserved — sacred truths carried quietly within the heart.

This pendant rises like a small sanctuary of layered wood and metal, guarded by amulet-like forms inspired by ancient protective symbols. At its base rests a deep red agate, symbolizing devotion, inner fire, and the soul’s hidden essence.

Mahfuz speaks of the quiet treasure within — preserved until the moment it is meant to be revealed.

Hust- Existance

Hust is a handmade pendant inspired by the Sufi understanding of existence — the belief that every element of creation carries meaning and presence. At its center rests a deep agate stone, symbolizing grounding, balance, and inner strength.

Textured metals and flowing golden wires echo the intricate paths of life and the unseen connections that bind existence together. Rooted in spiritual reflection and cultural symbolism, Hust becomes a meditation on presence, continuity, and the sacred beauty of being.

Hifz - The Divine Preservation

At its center rests a deep green malachite, symbolizing renewal, healing, and inner transformation. On either side, engraved amulet forms stand like silent guardians, reflecting protection rooted in faith and trust in the unseen.

Golden bindings unite the piece like threads of destiny, while the red and green tassels echo devotion, remembrance, and the sacred hopes carried through spiritual tradition.

Flowing golden lines across the wood symbolize the winding spiritual path, while two amulet forms stand as quiet guardians of guidance and protection. At the center rests a dark agate, representing the still point where wandering becomes arrival.

Wusool reminds us that the journey was never outward, but inward — toward the quiet meeting between the heart and the Divine.

Kashf - The Unveiling

Sukoot-Silence within

This pendant is a small architectural composition where stone, metal, and time converge.

At its center rests a deep agate stone, held by hand-shaped brass lines that acknowledge rather than confine it. Layers of copper, steel, and brass show natural marks of crafting—scratches, patina, and variation that reflect process over perfection.

Suspended on a raw leather cord, the piece feels earthy and intuitive, like a discovered object rather than a manufactured ornament. Each pendant is individually crafted, making every piece unique with its own quiet character.

Tahawwul - The Becoming

Zia - Radiance

Zia represents the gentle inner light that arises from an awakened heart — a quiet radiance that illuminates the soul rather than the eyes.

Janaan is a reminder that beneath the world’s noise, the soul remains luminous, patient, and eternal.

Vessels

A bowl is one of the oldest human forms — a vessel made to hold and gather. In shaping these bowls, I follow the natural rhythm of the wood, allowing its grain and character to guide the form. Each piece carries the warmth of the hand and the quiet memory of the tree it once was.

Tashtari - 01

Hand-carved from solid siris wood, this bowl is embellished with aged metal sheets, nails, and upholstery studs. The fusion of organic wood grain with industrial metal detailing creates a bold, sculptural form that speaks of strength, preservation, and timeless craftsmanship. Each piece is entirely unique.

Tashtari - 02

This vessel embodies a quiet strength shaped by hand and time. Its fluid form follows the natural grain of the wood, revealing warmth, depth, and organic movement.

Forged metal handles extend from either side, suggesting movement, offering, and human interaction. Embedded metal plates and hand-set nails add texture and rhythm, echoing traditional craftsmanship with a raw, weathered character.

The contrast between warm wood and industrial metal creates a balance between softness and strength, nature and human touch.

Tashtari - 03

Hand-shaped from richly grained wood, this vessel carries the warmth and memory of natural material. Metal accents, rivets, and bindings create a dialogue between organic softness and crafted strength, while sculptural handles suggest movement and passage.

Balancing utility with poetry, the piece holds not only objects, but also a sense of memory, history, and intention — a quiet expression of material honesty and understated luxury.

Tashtari - 04

Carved from richly grained rosewood, this vessel flows with an organic rhythm that highlights the natural beauty of the wood. Iron sheets, bars, leather bindings, and hand-set upholstery nails create a striking contrast between softness and industrial strength, while brass and bronze accents add warmth and depth.

Quartz stones serve as quiet focal points, bringing clarity and subtle luminosity to the composition. Balancing sculpture and utility, the piece becomes a harmony of wood, metal, and stone — holding not only objects, but also texture, presence, and story.

Tashtari - 05

This vessel is a dialogue between heritage and contemporary expression — where tradition is not preserved, but reimagined.

Carved from richly toned wood, its asymmetrical form follows the natural flow of the material, creating an organic and meditative presence. Calligraphic engraving and geometric inlay bring together fluidity and structure, intuition and precision, while iron and leather details add strength, balance, and tactile warmth.

More than a functional object, this piece carries a sense of cultural memory and artistic exploration — rooted in tradition yet reaching toward the present.

Sculpture

My work begins not with a plan, but with a conversation — between my hands, the material, and the moment. I work primarily in metal and wood, drawn to their opposing natures: steel insists on permanence, holds the mark of every weld and strike; wood carries its own history in the grain, warm and resistant at once. These qualities are not obstacles to overcome but invitations to respond.

I do not impose form. I follow what the material offers.

My sculptures emerge through intuition — an accumulation of decisions made in real time, each one building on or resisting the last. The stacked wooden forms grow like improvisational structures, block by block, until the assembly holds something I recognize but could not have predicted. The metal work carries its own logic: circles that orbit without closing, planes that split and curve, surfaces roughened into something like memory or scar.

I am interested in the tension between order and disruption — geometry that strains against itself, structures that appear about to shift or collapse yet hold. There is a kind of questioning built into this: what is stable, what is fragile, and where exactly is the line between the two?

To work by intuition is not to work without discipline. It is to remain open — to the unexpected cut, the weight that pulls differently than imagined, the negative space that suddenly becomes the subject. The material teaches. I try to stay in the position of student.

These objects do not arrive with explanations. They are records of a process that trusted itself.
